Enhancing the Education
of Turtleback Students
Volunteers Needed
The foundation needs volunteers to oversee and operate various activities listed below:
Annual Giving - coordinate the annual donation mailing.
Events - oversee event planning in conjunction with the selected venue, generate invitations and promotional materials, coordinate silent auction donations and item procurement.
Community Outreach - work with local corporations to secure sponsorship and support for events and annual funding.

Regular committee meetings are held, in the library at Turtleback Elementary School. The next meeting is from 7:30 - 9:00p.m in the Bishop Center at Turtleback. We hope you can attend if you are interested in helping.

The Turtleback Education Foundation will be starting a new and exciting ongoing Fundraiser. The best part is it won't cost you anything! Only your recyclables. We will be launching our "Recycling Tuesday" . Our "Green Team" will be in front of the Kindergarten gates to collect your bottles and cans. We can only accept CRV (California Redemption Value) items, I.E water bottles, gatorade, small juice bottles,aluminum cans.SORRY NO GLASS. We have contracted with a company which brought us a large container, which you will notice on the side of the school . Once it's filled they will come and pick it up, weigh it and issue us a check for approximatley $1000.00. Each time we fill it we will be earning approximatley this amount which will add up to significant funds for Turtleback! Please make sure to separate your plastic bottles from your cans and put them in a clear plastic bag if you have one. If not no worries we will take care of it!
Thank you so much for your support in this wonderful fundraiser which in addition to raising funds for Turtleback, will teach kids the importance of recycling.
